Oxford Children’s A to Z Music

The Oxford Children’s A to Z of Music celebrates the diversity and range of music and sound from all around the world. Arranged alphabetically for easy reference, it introduces children of 8 upwards to all aspects of music in a lively and accessible way. Entries cover composers from Bach to
Andrew Lloyd Webber, instruments from the nosepipe to the gamelan, and international music from the Indian Ragas to steel bands. Special attention has also been given to the National Curriculum requirements of gaining skills and understanding in music through performing, composing, listening, and
